Jimmy Murphy, has covered the Boston Bruins, Montreal Canadiens, NHL and NCAA hockey for over 15 years as a reporter, TV and radio analyst.
Murphy writes for and owns MurphysHockeyLaw.blog. He freelances for VICESports.com and appears as a radio analyst on WEEI, TSN Radio and BostonHeraldRadio. In the past, he has written for NHL.com, ESPNBoston.com, NESN.com, TSN.ca and the Boston Herald.
Murphy hosted the daily hockey show "Top Shelf" and weekly show "Murphy's Hockey Law" on Sirius/XM NHL Network from 2013-16 and most recently hosted the daily drive home show "The Stretch Run" on ESPN New Hampshire. He is currently the host of his own podcast, Murphy's Hockey Law found here and on http://clnsradio.com/.
Murphy is based in the Greater Boston area where he also grew up. He has also lived and worked in Montreal, QC and Long Beach, NY. Prior to that he attended and graduated from UMass-Amherst with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and a minor in Sports Management.
Besides his strong passion for hockey, 'Murph' is a proud father and loves music.
